Rupa Patel MD

 

Dr. Rupa Patel is a female urologist who received her undergraduate degree from Boston University.  She went on to receive her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine in 1998, graduating as a member of the prestigious honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha.  She completed her surgical and urologic residency at New York University School of Medicine in 2004.  In 2004, Dr. Rupa Patel joined our team at Urological Surgical Associates offering an expertise in female urology, incontinence, voiding dysfunction, laparoscopy and pelvic prolapse repairs. 

Although Dr. Rupa Patel practices general adult and pediatric urology she specializes in the care of women.  She offers an advanced and compassionate approach to the treatment of sensitive and embarrassing urologic conditions that commonly affect women. 

Her neuro-urology and female urology training was under the guidance of one of the nation's leading experts, Dr. Victor Nitti.

Additionally, she has had extensive training and expertise in laparoscopy under the direction of an accomplished leader in the field, Dr. Michael Stifelman.

Dr. Rupa Patel is a member of the American Urological Association and The Society for Urodynamics and Female Urology.  She has conducted extensive research and published several articles in leading urology journals.
